Excel Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client’s team in Fonthill, Dublin 22.This role will be working alongside and supporting the full finance function. This role is full time office based.Duties will include:Processing sales invoices: Generate and process sales invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct and compliant with company policies and regulations.Handling payments: Manage incoming and outgoing payments, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and liaising with vendors and clients regarding payment status.Managing purchase orders: Coordinate purchase orders, track deliveries, and verify invoices against orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing of payments.Assisting with payment collection from customers: Follow up with customers to collect outstanding payments, maintain payment records, and address any payment-related queries or issues.Preparing and processing bank lodgements: Compile and prepare bank lodgements, ensure accurate recording of deposits, and reconcile bank statements to maintain financial accuracy.Posting bank transactions and reconciling bank statements: Record all bank transactions promptly and accurately, reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies, and resolve any financial discrepancies or errors.Regularly reconciling customer accounts: Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure balances are accurate, address discrepancies promptly, and maintain clear and updated financial records.Supporting month-end procedures: Assist with month-end financial close processes, such as preparing financial reports, conducting reconciliations, and supporting the finance team in meeting reporting deadlines.RequirementsMin of 1years+ Experience in a similar roleProficiency in IT systems and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment..In Return:Excellent salary on offer €32-36K DOELots of room for career progressionLocated in Dublin 22
