Job OverviewThis new Operations Technician position in Waterford offers the opportunity to build your experience across operations, maintenance and quality. Working as part of a busy Operations team, you will report to the Stability Lead while performing sample management activities. ResponsibilitiesOperationsReceive and check customer deliveries to Q1 Scientific, highlighting any anomalies and ensuring secure, correct and timely storage of such deliveries in line with customer requirements, regulatory and quality guidelinesTake responsibility for retrieval, packing and delivery of samples back to customersPerform daily checks on stability cabinets/room conditionsComplete equipment calibrations, temperature and humidity mapping (training will be provided)Ensure the facility is kept clean and equipment and maintenance schedules are maintained as specified by QMSLiaise with external consultants and contractorsProvide general admin support and any other duties as may be requiredDrivingCollecting, loading, delivery and return of samples to customer sites throughout IrelandCo-ordinating with the Operations team to ensure delivery deadlines are adhered toEnsuring paperwork is correct for each deliveryDriving company vehicle in a courteous and safe manner with regard to other road users and in accordance with road legislation, company policies and proceduresQualityEnsure that all activities meet the quality standards specified by the Q1 Scientific QMS and in accordance with cGMP standardsReview completed documents for compliance to specification and to ensure all entries are completeProduce and manage quality reports around deviations Qualifications/SkillsYou must have a good attention to detail with:Advanced level Microsoft Word and Excel skills with the ability to produce graphs and reportsA good work ethic and be willing to work as part of a team or on your own initiativeA positive attitude to work and a willingness to take ownership of projectsHours are am to 5 pm Monday – Friday, with some requirement to work outside of these hours.
