<p><strong>Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) 0.4 WTE (15 hours) -Specific Purpose x 1 year</strong></p> <p><strong>Phase 2 of Create Project</strong></p> <p></p> <p>St. Michael's House Services is a community-based organisation committed to providing a quality person centred service and high standard of living to people with an intellectual disability in the greater Dublin area. <em> </em>St.<em> </em>Michael’s House is committed to providing individualised supports to people so that they can enjoy experiences, opportunities and lifestyles similar to their peers.</p> <p></p> <p>Vacancy exists for a 0.4 WTE Specific Purpose Clinical Nurse Manager 2 for 1 year to work on a new Project for SMH. This post will Project Manage Create Project and be the link to the National Disability Services Quality Improvement Office, and the to be newly appointed Project Officers and other Disability organisations. This is phase 2 of Create Project.</p> <p></p> <p>Applications are invited for this position from suitably qualified candidates. This role requires a strong ability to project lead and to problem solve and work on own initiative.</p> <p></p> <p><strong><ins>Essential Criteria:</ins></strong></p> <p></p> <ul> <li>Have a Nursing qualification and be presently registered and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).</li> <li>Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the area of Intellectual Disability in particular supporting individuals in Respite. Have at least 6 months in the area of staff support, taking the lead in teams, resource management, project management and administration duties</li> <li>Have strong skills to manage projects and be competent and confident in using a computer for email, and other office applications and competent at using a SMART phone and being familiar with other mobile technologies such as iPads, Tablet devices and Aps</li> <li>Be knowledgeable of Progressing Disability Services and Health Act 2007 and have experience and understanding of HIQA regulations</li> <li>A working knowledge of Safeguarding Policy</li> <li>Have knowledge/experience of working with or within respite and residential services in SMH - In view of project timescales and objectives knowing some of the service users and their families would be a distinct advantage</li> <li>Show drive/passion and professionalism – be confident in collaborating with other services, encouraging and fostering participation, be able to effectively support staff teams during this project</li> <li>Be able to advocate for service users</li> <li>Have an understanding of the legislation around Data Protection/Information Sharing, and Consent</li> <li>Strong communication skills as working across differing internal and external organisations</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid in line with HSE revised consolidated HSE Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Scale</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Closing date</strong> for receipt of applications is 5pm 23rd May 2024</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Informal enquiries to: </strong>Gráinne Bourke, DON 0872498244 / nurse recruitment 0860358500</p> <p></p> <p><strong>To apply: </strong>Email a cover letter and C.V to <ins>www.smh.ie/careers</ins></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Please outline in your cover letter your suitability for the role taking into account the criteria in the above advert.
