This is what LifeAtBNYMellon is all about. We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Business Developmentto join our Business Development team. This role is located in Dublin- HYBRIDIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:  Working with the Sales Executives and Sales Segment Leads in research on sector, client and competition to develop effective prospect calling initiatives and campaigns. Working with Sales Executive and RFP team to manage the process for active tenders including client interaction, RFP process, operational model solution, financial modelling, legal negotiations, risk, governance (BAC, Risk Committees, Deal Council etc.) and presenting both internally and to clients/prospects. Coordinating with Relationship Manager, relationship team and RFP team to manage the RFP process for existing business renewal and significant additional business. This can include, as appropriate, client interaction, RFP process, operational model solution, financial modelling, legal negotiations, risk, governance (BAC, Risk Committees, Deal Council etc.) and presenting both internally and to the clients Co-ordination of the production of high-quality sales materials to support the deal process client presentations, RFPs, Executive Summaries, Financial proposal documents etc. Organising and coordinating client/prospect interactions and meetings: introductory meetings, presentations, due diligence visits etc. Managing/coordinating internal communication and documentation for all deal related processes including internal briefings / updates and adherence to all required regulatory, legal, risk and compliance governance processes. Working closely with business change group, internal operations, and product groups to efficiently on-board new clients  Sets the strategy for business development in the Middle East and develops tactics to execute on that strategy in support of the business unit goals, and focuses on responsible business growth that is compliant, of acceptable risk and profitable.  Identifies the markets and areas for future growth and development. Participates in and contributes to the development of firm-wide strategy and goals and interfaces regularly with senior leaders and stakeholders.  Owns the business development pipeline and campaign management for Middle East business development. Develops the key metrics and sales analyses that will gauge the success of the business development activities within the family.  Tracks and reports on business development results for the function. Responsible for revenue goals within the business units.  May be responsible for achieving organic incremental growth from existing clients. Sets the standards for dealing with unprecedented, complex, or intricate issues regarding prospect needs, deal structure, negotiations, priorities, compliance, regulations, etc.  Reviews and approves deal structure ensuring optimal terms for both the client and the firm and mitigating risk where necessary.  Ensures deals are compliant with all regulations.  To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  Experience in Asset Servicing sales preferred Experience in Middle East clients preferred Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.  Sufficient years total work experience, preferably in Business Development or a customer-facing role.  Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
