Based in Kingswood Business Park in Baldonnell, Dublin 22 -Assa Abloy Entrance Systems Ireland currently employees 55 staff in Sales, Installations, Service and Finance serving the Irish Market. We service all types of entrance solutions for all kinds of customers. Right from the industrial door in the warehouse, the docking solution for the goods to the hangar gate at the airport.In this role you will will be a vital member of the team. There is a great variety of tasks, as rarely two days are the same. The Company Accountant is a key Business Partner within the company -supporting all parts of the business including Sales, Service, & Operations as well as being responsible for all Company reporting -Group, Statutory and Taxation As an office based employee in the Dublin office, you will be responsible, reliable, punctual and trustworthy. You will represent the company in a professional and supportive manner, developing positive working relationships with our customers as well as co-workers. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be involved in the following main activities; Principle Duties and Responsibilities: To ensure accurate and timely reporting of the requisite Monthly financials in line with group requirements To accurately interpret business results on a continuous basis to identify potential issues to address or opportunities to pursue to enhance the operating profit of the business. Ensure all local legal, tax and statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled including liaising with local and group auditors. Work on Annual Budget process and Forecasts – make sure each department own their numbers. Drive and Implement process improvements throughout the company. Manage VAT, Intrastat, RCT returns Be a key player in any system implementations -Current project -FMP 360 for Service. Improve usage of Sage Financial System Work with professional advisers on Company Pension scheme & Insurance policies Review levels of working capital in the company to ensure it is kept at optimum levels in order to maximize cash flow. Ensure adequate financial controls and review systems in the company to ensure accuracy of reported information and minimize risk of fraudulent or otherwise inappropriate activities. Encourage “whistle blowing” when required. Implement Group Finance initiatives in the company, monitor progress and report back status and deviations from plan. Key competences: Qualified Accountant with minimum 2 years Industry experience Previous Construction industry experience would be a distinct advantage Exceptional business acumen-numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills Adaptability and Stress resistance -used to working with tight reporting deadline Commercial and cost-conscious attitude Excellent communicator internally and with Customers Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
