Electrical Engineer

This Electrical Design Engineer role is joining an experienced team in a very fast paced environment. We pride ourselves on being a full building services solutions provider. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer required to join one of the UK’s fastest growing M&E Building Services companies with an offices located all over the UK. This role is responsible to develop and deliver electrical designs to facilitate the safe and compliant installations on site. 1.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Designing in conjunction with fire certs, disability access certs & planning permission report. * Attending Design team meetings. * Carrying out site surveys of existing installations. * Producing stage reports & presentations. * Detailing electrical schematics for build. * Sourcing and procurement of electrical components for designs * Creating test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs. * Liaising with customers & suppliers. * Meeting project delivery deadlines. * Production of detailed design briefs, basis of design’s and survey reports. * Carry out all work in a professional manner. * This list is not exhaustive or exclusive. 2.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * 5 year’s experience in the Electrical Engineering field * Deep knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Irish and UK standards * Knowledge of Amtech required * Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment * Strong communication skills
