Galetech Energy Developments (GED) is one of the leading independent renewable energy development companies in Ireland with over 680MW in development and 300MW under construction/operational. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a project manager to join our team. You will be primarily responsible for managing projects through the pre-construction and construction phases. As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be: Manage the delivery of Galetech's expanding renewable energy portfolio consisting of large-scale wind, solar and battery energy storage projects. Work with the site finding team and feed into the site feasibility reports to be presented to the development team for approval. Manage and liaise with the land and legal team in securing the required land lease, easement and wayleave agreements. Liaise and manage the community consultation team, community clinics and project messaging within the community. Co-ordinate the planning consultants and stakeholders for the successful delivery of the required planning consents. Manage the grid team and work the DSO and Eirgrid in submitting project grid application and securing a grid connection for the project. Report to the Projects Director including updates on budgets, risk register, land, programme scheduling and using the inhouse reporting management system. Manage the weekly team meetings with the development team. Basic Requirements: Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction, Environmental, or Planning Minimum of 2 years Project Management experience and proven track record in delivering large renewable energy projects. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy industry. Highly motivated, willing to grow within the business and grow Galetech's renewable energy team and portfolio. Experience in GIS, Autocad, shapefiles and Microsoft Project. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel and database applications. Excellent communication skills in English.
