Job Title: Business AnalystDepartment: PMOReporting To: PMO DirectorPurpose:Uniphar is embarking on an ambitious, multi-year IT transformation program and is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work across one or more of our transformation initiatives. Operating within PMO, the Business Analyst will be supported within the wider technology transformation program by Commercial, Operations, HR, Group IT, PMO and business change functions. The Business Analyst will be expected to lead the analysis phase of one or more projects, capturing the overall requirements on behalf of the business, working with technology teams and 3rd party vendors as required, and supporting the overall delivery lifecycle of the project as required.Key Responsibilities / OutcomesWorking with business owners, project managers, technology, vendors and multiple stakeholders, lead the analysis phase of one or more projects to ensure the requirements of the business are translated into clear documented asks using appropriate frameworksFacilitate requirements gathering sessions, build consensus and document accordingly in line with the delivery methodology in place and the schedule as set by the project manager. Understand and deliver on the customers' needs, collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are documented and agreed Translate business requirements to the delivery team, collaboratively produce design specifications, work to ensure the solutions designed meet the business requirements, present back outcomes to the business stakeholdersDeliver complex process mapping of AS IS and TO Be processes as required to support business change processes, technical process mapping to support the delivery teams, or as required to manage the change program. Pivotal member of the change management process and bringing our stakeholders through the change journeySupport the team during the delivery lifecycle required in areas such as business readiness, testing, support and training.Contribute in relevant planning, status updates, and governance as appropriate. Provide estimations for work, work to a schedule, escalate any observations to the project manager Support any data migration process – deliver clear data dictionaries from each legacy IT system, map to new systems, and oversee migration, cleansing, testing and loading into new systems as requiredContribute at a program level in areas such as cross-workstream dependencies and multi-system integrationsContribute to culture change across projects where necessaryKey Skills, Experiences & Competencies 7-10yrs experience in implementing technology solutions for complex business problems in an FMCG environment The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating in waterfall and agile environments and can transition between methodologies as appropriate depending on the project or product. Excellent documentation skills, process mapping, user requirements specifications, functional specifications, requirements traceability matrices, feature and story writingSubstantial commercial acumen, the Business Analyst will be immersed in the business for long periods and must be comfortable operating across different divisions and departmentsComfortable working with 3rd party vendors to design solutions, developers, reasonable knowledge of design patterns and application architectureAttention to detail, must be able to operate at the relevant levels of detail required to ensure successful delivery Self-starter with strong communication, presentation, relationship building and end to end analytical skills Strong data analysis skills, interpreting information, cleansing and data transformation, use of excel, SQL and database querying tools an advantagePrior experience working in a GxP environment useful Experience in implementing some of the following – ERP, WMS, CRM, eCommerce, digital portals, mobile apps, reporting tools Be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds & cultures and be able to work with people up and down the hierarchy matrix in the business Relevant Business Analysis certification is a plusUniphar BackgroundUniphar group is a rapidly expanding global healthcare services business with a proud heritage in Ireland.
