The Corporate and Regulatory Services department is a global facing team supporting the clients administrative and fiduciary services needs. The Irish based team will work closely with the already established Cayman Trust team and may assist with the teams deliverables in a supportive function. This role has been created to establish an Irish and European presence in the Trustee market and offers an exciting opportunity for the candidate to grow our footprint here. Key responsibilities include the following:Ensure that the Trusts are set up legally and are compliant with the relevant authority. Signing off on Trust Deeds and related agreements ( CLO management, paying agents, custodians) Acting as a fiduciary agent for the investors of the Trust. Oversee and manage a team of Trust administrators, supporting and collaborating with the team to ensure continuous stability, growth, and successIdentify any risks or gaps in processes and work with management and the team to implement a better process when necessarySupport and assist in any change management processes to be implemented on the teamManage with the team all risks related to Trust work that may result in any liability to MUFG and ensure the Trustee's fiduciary responsibilities are adhered to. Maintaining ultimate ownership of the portfolio assetsEnsure that all regulatory fees are paid on an annual basis and on timeBill trusts for trustee services and follow up on late payments Pay careful attention to any investments or disbursements that the Trust may make to ensure it is within the boundaries of the Deed. Monitoring the admin and other related parties' compliance reportingKeep track of all income and distributions and obtain proper records in support. Ensuring all agents are meeting the obligations in the indenture and providing accurate information to investorsAssist in annual audits as required and ensure audited financials are filed Ensure that all agreements and documents are in order and on file Ensure that all due diligence and anti-money laundering regulations are followed QualificationsDemonstrable experience within the trust or corporate services fieldDetailed understanding of trust and corporate structures, related statutory requirements and local legislationProven track record in technical and complex transactions with the ability to demonstrate excellent technical competency and share knowledge within the businessDemonstrate a thorough understanding of trust and company administration and how it interacts with other areas and roles within the wider businessKnowledge and understanding of anti-money laundering and other compliance legislation as well as knowledge of trust formation documentsProvide technical and other support to the Client Integration Team and affiliates where requiredHigh proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointDegree and / or ICSA Qualification would be advantageousAdditional InformationWhat’s in it for you to join MUFG Investor Services?  Take a look at our careers site and you’ll find everything you’d expect working with one of the fastest-growing businesses at one of the world’s largest financial groups.
