Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for a strong people leader who has warehouse experience. Tricel has a vacancy for a motivated professional to manage the day to day function in their Headquarters, Killarney. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the role, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build, manage and maintain relationships at all levels. You take responsibility for the performance of the team, consistently meeting and exceeding targets. This challenging role will require a self-motivated and systems savvy individual with extensive experiencing of warehousing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 8-10 people. Responsibilities Co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse and Pack Out areas to meet production targets for customer delivery, product quality & cost ensuring a safe work environment at all times. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements. Maintain correct standards of health and safety, hygiene and security. Cross functional collaboration on identified projects/ issues is required. Ensure that productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly. Prioritize, allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs. Supervise staff to ensure that all warehouse activities, and all machines/equipment are operated safely. Train new workers in warehouse operating procedures and standards. Keep stock control systems up to date and ensure that inventories are accurate. Track and record any non-compliance and escalate as necessary. Coordination with Logistics and Transport with respect to deliveries to internal/external customers. Perform other related duties as assigned. Candidate Profile Minimum of 3 years warehousing and people management experience Strong understanding and use of systems and Excel Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
