Description: Cpl Healthcare is seeking expressions of interest/CV applications for the post of Consultant Respiratory & General Physician in a teaching Hospital in the West of Ireland.This is a specified purpose whole-time full-time vacancy where the successful candidate will be part of a large multidisciplinary team, delivering this essential service. There is a requirement to participate in an on-call rota. The successful candidate will be required to meet the objectives of delivering high quality Consultant led Services and to manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of a comprehensive medical service.To be considered eligible you must :Be registered in or in the process of registering with the Irish Medical Council Preference for candidates who are registered in the specialty division of the IMC but consideration will be given to candidates who have general registration with relevant experience.Demonstrate appropriate experience and ability in providing General Medical and Respiratory Care related services at a Consultant levelDemonstrate evidence of effective planning and organising skills including awareness of resource management and importance of value for moneyAbility to liaise with service providers on a local and regional basis.Ability and experience to participate in teaching, audit and research.Demonstrate effective communication skillsDemonstrate awareness and appreciation of the service usersDemonstrate leadership and team management skillsDisplay evidence based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding client careIdeally have Irish or UK experienceHave excellent English skillsEligible to work in IrelandFor further details please contact Catherine Hoban on: e: or t: +353 21 4626138
