Our client, a leading global healthcare company in Sligo, is keen to hire a Support Technician to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. The Support Technician will work the Weekday Night Shift.Responsibilities ():Perform assigned duties under the guidance of Team/Unit/Shift Leader/ManagerExecute operations in the service centre and warehouse, including cleaning and autoclaving equipment, managing inventory, and completing computer applicationsEnsure compliance with all documentation and Good Manufacturing requirementsTrain new employees and adhere to relevant operating proceduresContribute to cost-saving initiatives and assist in purchasing non-inventory materialsParticipate in project work such as product transfers, characterisation, and validation of facilities, equipment, or processesEnsure adherence to environmental procedures and seek opportunities for improvementIdeal background:Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or 7 years of relevant manufacturing experiencePrevious experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential.Accountability for proper procedure adherence to prevent financial losses, customer complaints, and product recallsAuthority to carry out duties with minimal supervisionFormal goals and performance reviews conducted annually
