Senior Occupational Therapist in Orthopaedics

<p>The Senior Occupational Therapist will lead the delivery of a responsive Occupational Therapy service for children and adolescents within the Spinal and Orthopaedics multidisciplinary team in CHI at Crumlin.</p> <p></p> <p>This caseload contains a mix of inpatient and day unit caseloads including children admitted for elective surgeries (e.g. Scoliosis surgery, Limb Reconstruction, Developmental Dysplasia of Hip, Amputations) and trauma admissions. Interventions can include rehabilitation, equipment prescription and provision, postural management, developmental input and supporting discharge home. Liaison with community teams is a key part of this role.</p> <p></p> <p>The post-holder will work collaboratively with children and families admitted for surgeries who may have complex co-morbidities and levels of disability.
