Our client, a global healthcare leader, is seeking to recruit an EHS Lead to join their team in Cootehill, Co. Cavan.Responsibilities:As an EHS Lead, you will be responsible for: Safety programs at the site and providing or organising safety training as needed.Managing an ongoing safety plan and leading projects to improve safety across the site, aiming to enhance an already strong safety culture.Advising and communicating with site and external leadership on safety performance and program governance.Leading safety walkdowns with local leaders to maintain a strong safety culture.Identifying workplace hazards, conducting risk assessments, and advising management on controlling these hazards.Conducting internal audits and site inspections, recommend improvements, and document findings.Analysing safety performance trends proactively and implementing hazard reduction plans by collaborating with responsible site functions.Leading ISO45001 preparation and maintain certification. Qualifications:A third-level qualification in EHS or Engineering.At least 2 years’ experience in a high volume and dynamic production environment.Ability to work as an effective member of a high-performance team and on their own initiative, coupled with excellent organisational skills.Experience in Environmental compliance is an advantage.
