Central Commercial Resource

The commercial function is lead by the CCO with the support of the BUCDs in the business. The work this commercial leadership does is supported by a very capable team based centrally. The demands from this team are considerable and will be into the future. As such we are seeking expressions of interest from those interested in exploring a potential opportunity to join this central commercial support team. It would suit someone with an appropriate level of broad commercial experience the chance to experience the many interesting and challenging aspects associated with the overall commercial and risk management of the business. It also comes with the opportunity to experience being part of shaping change and the strategic direction of the function. The great thing about the role is that it’s a revolving door role, ie its typically only for 1 to 2 years max, and it can be an important step in the development of you professionally, allowing the individual the potential to go on and take up bigger and better roles in the business, like it has done for everyone who has put the effort into making it a success for themselves to date.What it requires is the following :Someone who has made a success of the commercial management of projects over a period of time (Commercial Manager plus level); (Snr QS' with the credentials to get to the next level will be considered also)Someone who has a deep understanding of what good looks like in terms of commercial management Someone who understands the why’s and wherefores of our commercial and risk management processes and proceduresSomeone who has a passion for improving how and what we doSomeone who has shown an ability to operate on their own initiative Someone who is a good communicator and able to engage professionally at all levels in the businessSomeone who is a very good collaborator Someone who is comfortable engaging on IT and systems based mattersMost of all – someone who has the drive and determination to broaden their horizons in an effort to progress their own career ambitions It also affords the right individual the opportunity to get exposure to the Executive Team and the Non-Execs in the business.If you have an interest on exploring the role, send a mail to the Mark McGreevy (CCO) or if you simply want a quick chat about it, give us a call on 086 8091208.
