Senior Controls Engineer

Senior Controls Engineer Westmeath €70-80k Inform3 is recruiting for a Senior Controls Engineer to join a market leading company in County Westmeath. You will be providing technical leadership to the project engineering team, ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality and safety standards and to project timescales. This will be achieved through the management of performance and the development of the team and will involve the coordination of all engineering disciplines within projects. Our client is looking for a candidate already acting in a leadership capacity or a Senior Engineer who is looking to make the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities * Take a lead role in the delivery or projects from concept to handover * Liaise with the clients to define requirements * Assist in control and automation designs for projects * Preparation of project documentation * Supporting all aspects of the control systems within projects and ensure all aspects are completed on time * Design and programming of PLC/HMI control systems * Design and implementation of SCADA systems Key Requirements * Degree Level 8 in Engineering - Mechanical, Automation and Control * 5 years’ post qualification experience and strong interest in automation engineering * PLC Programming experience, ideally Siemens & Allen Bradley * Experience providing leadership to a team of engineers * Excellent communication skills * Ability to collaborate at a variety of levels * In addition to problem solving, project management ability is essential * Ability to demonstrate strong customer relationship management skills To find out more about this role please contact Steve on (phone number removed).
