Job Purpose:  Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Logistics Manager will oversee onsite logistics operations. This hands-on role will drive productivity, efficiency, and compliance while fostering a culture of motivation and engagement within the logistics team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset to enhance supply chain business processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead the onsite logistics team to ensure effective and compliant shipping operations. Coordinate outgoing shipments accurately to customer sites and distribution centres, meeting domestic and international deadlines. Serve as the point of escalation for shipping-related issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with corporate supply chain and customer services to meet customer needs. Supervise carriers and freight forwarders, driving performance improvements and building strong relationships. Coach and develop the logistics team to deliver best practice results and continuous improvements. Ensure team members are fully trained and maintain up-to-date training records. Work with site management and supply chain stakeholders to develop the future state warehouse and logistics model. Monitor and update relevant KPIs via local and corporate dashboards. Qualifications/Experience: Strong safety knowledge and commitment to personnel safety. Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP system, with 5+ years of subject matter expertise in logistics movements. Third-level qualification in Supervision/Management or 5+ years in a relevant logistics leadership role. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills. Strong systems skills and computer literacy. Initiative and ability to interface effectively with colleagues at all levels and across cultures.
