Our client, a prominent communication business in Dublin, seeks an Executive Assistant to the CEO for a 12 month maternity cover.  As the EA to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level administrative support, requiring utmost discretion, impeccable organisational skills, and the ability to handle pressure with poise. The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Office.  Key Responsibilities: Diary and Inbox Organisation: Efficiently manage the CEO's diary, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls across multiple time-zones. Monitor and manage the CEO's inbox, prioritising and responding to emails promptly and effectively. Events and Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and manage logistics for events, meetings, and travel arrangements for the CEO, ensuring seamless execution. Assist in arranging travel accommodations, including flights, accommodation, and transportation, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Proactive Support: Anticipate the CEO's needs and act proactively to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks. Handle pressure with grace and composure, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Discretion and Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality, maintaining professionalism at all times. Uphold confidentiality in all communications and interactions, ensuring the CEO's privacy and security are safeguarded. Qualifications: Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role supporting senior executives, preferably to a CEO. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software. Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines. Professional demeanour and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels. Prior experience in a fast-paced corporate environment is advantageous.
