Ryanair are currently recruiting for an Assistant Ramp Coordinator (Nights)  to join the Ground Ops Dept of Europe's Favorite Airline! The successful candidate will be based in Dublin Airport. Duties Include: Assisting the RCO in the management and co-ordination of a Ramp Team crew on an on-going basis to ensure maximum operational efficiency is achieved at all times. Co-ordinating all Ramp activities on a shift basis to ensure all targets with regard to punctuality, mishandled baggage, health & safety and equipment maintenance are achieved and, where possible, improved. Allocating resources within the daily shift plan to ensure potential problem areas are adequately staffed. Anticipation of late inbound flights and ‘overlapping’ flights on the daily schedule. Allocation of sufficient manpower resources to ensure late inbound flights are recovered within set criteria and ‘overlapping’ flights allocated sufficient staff to ensure a punctual departure. Supervising and assisting Ground Handling Agents and Team Leaders in the performance of their duties. Appraising, monitoring and training all personnel under your responsibility in the performance of their duties. Actioning deficiencies in key performance areas e.g. punctuality, recovery, mishandled baggage, health & safety to ensure set performance criteria are achieved. The safe and punctual dispatch of flights in a busy schedule. Ensuring turnaround crews are briefed regarding arrival time and stand, passenger and baggage volumes inbound and outbound, scheduled or estimated departure time and reminded of the principal safety hazards to be aware of. Ensuring turnaround crews are aware of their individual responsibilities, e.g. marshalling, baggage count, inbound baggage delivery, tug, headset, etc. Ensuring all necessary personnel and equipment are correctly positioned on required stand in advance of aircraft arrival. Ensuring turnaround crews are aware of and adhere to all safety regulations as may be in force e.g. wearing of all required P.P.E (ear defenders, high-vis clothing, safety boots, handling boots, etc.), adherence to standard safety procedures. Commencing boarding in a timely manner with the agreement of the operating captain. Supervision of Ground Handling Agents and assistance in the completion of all their required duties incl. loading/offloading baggage, passenger and aircraft marshalling, pushback & towing maneuvers etc. Liaison with ancillary services (fuelers, caterers, passenger assistance services, etc.) to ensure the punctual departure of every flight. Provision of flight information to passengers and ensuring regular updates are provided in delay/disruption situations by means of announcements, flight information screens, etc. Assisting in the boarding process and liaising with check-in to identify missing passenger names and baggage sequence numbers. Ensuring that any baggage offload is conducted in a timely fashion and that the correct bags are identified and removed from the flight. Ensuring all relevant Triple A regulations are adhered to and all items of Traffic Load are correctly documented and accounted for on weight and balance documentation. Completion of weight and balance documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Provision of weather and other information as required by the Flightdeck. Ensuring Late Inbound Aircraft are ‘recovered’ according to set criteria. Assistance of other turnaround crews in ensuring the highest standards of punctuality are maintained at all times. Assisting with offload of baggage and ensuring baggage delivered to baggage hall in timely manner. Ensuring toilet servicing, water servicing and tows are conducted in accordance with FR procedures. Supervising operation of baggage hall during first wave and ensuring that baggage loaded as soon as possible to allow a punctual departure. Covering Station Control in the morning to ensure fuelers aware of any a/c or stand changes, etc. Ensuring aircraft and baggage are protected on the ramp at all times in line with FR procedures. Requirements Minimum 2 year ramp experience Detailed knowledge of load sheets and all Ryanair Ground Operations procedures Excellent communication skills Ability to work on own initiative Excellent organisational skills Windows Literate (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Ability to work to deadlines Must hold a full clean Irish driving license Due to the nature of our operation, working irregular hours is a condition of your employment, you must be prepared to work shift duties and additional hours when required.
