Junior Construction Technical Advisor – We have an exciting new role for a Junior Technical Construction Advisor to support an inbound customer service centre (inbound phone calls and emails from existing and potential clients such as Builders, Architects, Engineering companies etc) Role based in Dublin 22. This role will work as part of a team and there is good potential in the company to grow. The role requires:· a candidate with a construction background and recent level 6 graduates very welcome to apply , you will have worked on building sites, or with Architects etc. but now looking to work in a customer support role in a manufacturing environment (3 days on-site and 2 from home)· A qualification in a construction discipline is required (Civil, QS, architecture or similar)· In-depth product training on building materials will be provided and ongoing courses and investment in upskilling will be provided.This role does not involve design, it’s is a customer-focused role, supporting and solving problems such as better fire certification for plasterboard products, wall partitions and similar products.75% of your time will be customer support (phone and email) and 25% working on projects such as technical product analysis and finding solutions to typical technical queries.If you are a construction-qualified candidate who is no longer interested in onsite work or travel to sites and wants to work in an enjoyable environment with great training and support, then this might be the role for you.On offer:· €30k-€45k basic (DOE)· 8% bonus· 22 days annual leave· Share options· Hybrid work-3 days on site, 2 days WFHThe Role in Detail:· The Technical Advisor will provide support to both internal and external technical and commercial audiences, within the correct guidelines and standards· Provides accurate and market-leading written/verbal technical advice to customers enabling customers to get their needs met whilst maximising commercial benefit to the business in a timely manner meeting customer expectations· Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvements in how things are done within the team to improve team effectiveness and efficiency· Generates new ideas on how service provision can meet the evolving needs of the customers and experiments with different ways of implementing these so as to satisfy customers and encourage them to return· Taps into the sources of technical and professional know-how across the team and business on an ongoing basis so as to keep abreast of changes within the industry thereby using the latest know-how to advise and support customersSystems and Reporting· CRM daily usage· Preparation of weekly and monthly reports on enquiry key performance indicators.· Utilising industry tools, BIM, Cad, U-value calculator, Thermal modelling and Hygrothermal analysis software to generate project-relevant information for specifiers and customers.If you would like to learn more, please reach out to or reach me on .
