FRS Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our clients growing team in Co Carlow. This is a full time, permanent office based position. This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your accounting career. You will be working as part of the accounts team and you will be responsible for: About the Role Assisting with accounts payable Assisting with accounts receivable USING Intact accounting software Liaising with other departments to resolve queries. Preparing VAT returns Assisting with audit preparation General office duties within the Finance Department. Qualifications & Experience 3 - 5 years' experience as Accounts Assistant in a similar environment Qualified Accounts Technician is an advantage but not essential. Excellent financial acumen and commercial awareness Competent in the use of IT Ability to display high levels of numeracy. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Effective communication & people skills Flexible, organised with the ability to work as part of a team to meet deadlines. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
