We promise innovative engineering solutions to all our clients, meeting the most technical requirements with ease, no matter what the challenge.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an experienced Head of Projects located in Dundalk, Ireland site.Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Projects will provide dynamic leadership and mentoring to the Project Management Department and associated teams, ensuring all projects are delivered to the highest quality, within budget and in a timely manner whilst always ensuring compliance with current regulationsWhat a typical day looks like:Provide operational, financial, and managerial leadership for successful implementation of project activitiesContribute to the development of the company’s corporate strategy, lead and apply business strategy within Project Management teamDevelop & maintain project management capability within the departmentConduct regular reviews to ensure accountability of project activities as well as the accurate and timely reporting of financial deliverables and obligationsMulti-disciplinary working to ensure budgetary and time constraints are met whilst meeting client needs, upholding quality, and meeting business objectives & customer serviceAssisting the team and the business accordingly with any issues, in accordance with the company policyAssist in developing new innovative processes and procedures, improving existing systems Involvement with projects contractual obligations, disputes, and final accountsBuild and maintain relationships amongst clients by building confidence and trust with clear professional communications and assured expectation managementAttend and participate in weekly planning, and project hand over meetings (when required)Communicate business KPI’s and associated metrics with the team to ensure performance is upheldand in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the CompanyThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:Relevant experience in a similar role, with a professional background in electrical or construction projects Current Head of Projects, or minimum 5 years in Senior PM roleStrong people management skills The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.Must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurized environment,Demonstrate flexibility and have an understanding of basic electrical principles;Eligible to work in Ireland (EU)What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:An environment where you will feel fulfilled by your work, valued for your contribution, and celebrated for your successOpportunities to learn new skills in a fast-paced industryA competitive salary and benefits package that includes:A merit-based annual pay reviewEnhanced annual leaveReferral bonusSick pay schemeCycle to Work schemeEnhanced maternity/paternity/ parents leaveFlexible/ Hybrid Work based on your Job FunctionTravel opportunities (role dependent)Support in your well-being by access to:Employee Assistance Programme offering free access to qualified counsellors and expert adviceOn-site trained Mental Health First AidersAccess to various discount programs (including food, activities, gym memberships etc.).At Flex, we welcome people of all backgrounds.
