Who we are looking forThe Head of Investments, SSGA Europe Limited is a regulated role that has responsibility of overseeing portfolio management activity performed within the entity as well as portfolio management activity delegated to other SSGA entities, oversight of investment staff in Europe (Ireland and Poland) and serves as the first escalation point for investments on all matters that could have an adverse impact on State Street Global Advisors, its clients, and its relationships with regulators, and requires experience in investment decision making and risk-taking. The role reports directly to the Head of Strategy and Operations, Investments, with a matrix reporting line to the Head of EMEA, State Street Global Advisors, and located in Dublin, Ireland.The role has two Central Bank of Ireland Pre-Approved Controlled Functions:PCF-30 (Chief Investment Officer)PCF-39D (Designated Person for Investment Management)This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.Why this role is important to usThe team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Advisors, one of the largest asset managers in the world.
