Financial Lines Underwriter Location: Dublin Type: Permanent Category: Insurance Salary: €50,000 - €55,000 My client, a leading Insurer based in South Co. Dublin, is currently looking for a Financial Lines Underwriter to join their growing team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Financial Lines team, under the supervision of the Head of Financial Lines. Salary: €50,000-€55,000 Hybrid working model What does the role entail? Underwrite Financial Lines products such as Professional Indemnity, Medical Malpractice, Directors & Officers Liability, and Cyber Insurance. Collaborate with the Financial Lines manager to develop and expand products with both new and existing capacity providers. Achieve sales targets while upholding underwriting standards. Proactively manage policy renewals, including the issuance of proposal forms, renewal terms, and follow-ups on pending documentation. Work closely with brokers to ensure client retention. Process mid-term amendments efficiently. Develop a detailed understanding of all Financial Lines products. Build relationships with brokers through various means of communication and attend broker meetings as necessary. Dedicate efforts to enhancing quality and efficiency within the team and accomplishing personal and team objectives. Uphold customer focus and uphold company standards. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by Management. What are the required skills and experience? Commercial Underwriting experience is required. Minimum APA qualification is mandatory, CIP is an advantage. Demonstrated experience in broker and client interactions. Results-oriented with the ability to make independent decisions and take initiative. Openness to further develop technical and broader business skills.
