Mechanical Project Engineer

We currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with significant County Limerick based client. Position will be offered on 2 year contract and will report to Head of Engineering.The RoleCollaborates with the project team to agree the design brief and schedulePrepares concept designs, risk assessments and budget estimatesTasks mechanical designers to survey and/or as build job sites relating to design and to develop design drawingsEnlists the assistance of E/I, Control, or civil engineering support where requiredApply International standards including safety, quality, environment, cost and energy efficiency standards to all aspects of workEnsures that engineering design calculations are completed, maintain all documents, overseeing new or updated drawings for projects or plant modificationsPrepares project documents, health and safety plans, specifications, bills of materials and material purchases as required to implement the projectsLiaises with the project team and contractors during installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning stagesEnsures all equipment is registered on the maintenance management systems and project documentation is filed appropriatelyReports regularly on project status, schedule and budget Essential RequirementsDegree Qualified mechanical engineerMinimum 3-5 years’ relevant experienceAbility to work effectively as part of teamExcellent interpersonal skillsFluent EnglishAuthorisation to work in EU.To apply please email your cv to or call 086 6033772 to discuss in confidence.
