Group IT Project Administrator

If you are looking to play a key role in successfully delivering projects, C&D Foods is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our Group IT team as a Project Administrator. As a Group IT Project Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating projects and/or packages of work within our organisation. You will work collaboratively both internally with our IT and business teams as well as externally with our partners, suppliers, and customers. The role will include adopting governance and process as well as identifying and implementing areas for continual improvement.   This role will provide you with the opportunity to manage a range of tasks of varying, values, durations, and technologies. It will also give you the chance to work across multiple technology domains within the wider C&D Foods group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist on a value driven delivery portfolio and manage projects in parallel. Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of a project/programme, including, but not limited to: Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Documentation Management: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Communication Facilitation: Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Coordinate meetings, distribute agendas, and take meeting minutes as required. Resource Allocation: Assist in resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities and timelines. Risk and Issue Management: Identify and escalate project risks and issues to project managers and assist in implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Budget Tracking: Monitor project budgets and expenses and assist in financial tracking and reporting. Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and procurement processes. Quality Assurance: Support project managers in ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to project managers, including scheduling appointments, arranging travel, and preparing expense reports. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline project workflows and enhance efficiency. PERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field preferred or substantiated and demonstrable experience in a similar role. Proven experience in project coordination or administrative support role. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors. Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices a plus. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Delivery driven in all aspects, getting things done is your secret super power. Certification / Diploma in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus.
