We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team.Job Summary: As a Project Manager at CEL, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful execution of Switchgear Projects for our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the complete project lifecycle, from developing detailed project schedules to meticulous tracking, ensuring on-time and budget-compliant project delivery. Serving as the primary point of contact for customer-facing projects, you will be instrumental in maintaining excellent client relationships.Duties & Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Lead multiple Electrical Switchgear projects from detailed specification to final customer delivery, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to comprehensively understand and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with their expectations.Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with all departments to develop robust project schedules and accurate cost estimates, fostering a seamless workflow.Budget and Schedule Management: Take charge of project schedules and budgets, implementing effective strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.Change Management: Manage change requests, evaluating cost and schedule impacts, and obtaining necessary approvals to maintain project integrity.Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise effectively with key customers, sub-contractors, and suppliers, conducting site surveys and participating in crucial project meetings.Material Logistics: Work closely with Engineers to create a comprehensive Bill of Materials, collaborating with Procurement to ensure timely material deliveries.Production Collaboration: Engage with the Production team to guarantee project adherence to agreed-upon schedules and quality standards.Key Competencies / Requirements:Experience: Proven experience in a related position or comparable role, demonstrating expertise in switchgear design.Leadership Skills: Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, capable of driving projects to successful completion.Project Management: Demonstrated experience in project management, showcasing a track record of effectively managing costs and schedules.Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each receives the necessary attention and resources.Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment, adapting to evolving project requirements and industry dynamics.Results-driven Approach: Excellent attention to detail and a results-driven mindset, focused on achieving project goals and exceeding customer expectations.Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering clear and effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.Reliability and Trustworthiness: A reliable and trustworthy professional, committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability.Influencing Skills: Ability to initiate, influence, and lead without formal authority, driving cross-functional collaboration and achieving project success.Problem-solving Aptitude: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing challenges with innovative solutions.Project Management Tools: Knowledge of Project Management tools and concepts, enhancing efficiency in project execution.Education:Third Level Technical Qualification or equivalent.An Electrical Engineering Degree is advantageous.Formal Project Management Experience is a benefit (e.g., PMP, Prince, etc.).Experience:5+ years in a Project Manager or Project Engineer role.Significant experience with Electrical Switchgear and/or Electro-Mechanical Equipment.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Opportunities for professional development and training.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Company-sponsored social events and team-building activities.Employee assistance program for personal and professional support.Employee recognition programs and awards.
