One of Ireland’s leading general contractors that is a big player in the mission critical, life sciences, residential, commercial and civils sectors across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, are actively seeking a Building Services Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex MEP packages valued at €40m+. The project is a complex civils and commercial scheme in the Southeast of the country. This client has filled the orderbook already for 2024 & 2025 across all sectors and so, makes this serious opportunity for someone to climb the ladder in their preferred discipline. As Building Services Manager, you will be second in command and reporting directly to the MEP Lead who will have overall responsibility of the package. Our client is open to both self-employed and permanent contracts for the right candidate. Accommodation, travel and allowance are also available for candidates relocating from elsewhere. Building Services Manager Responsibilities: * Delivery of planned and reactive maintenance to all building plant, equipment, and systems * To meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements Assist other trades in completion of multi-disciplinary works as and when required * To supervise specialist sub-contractors whilst on-site * Monitor and review the BMS head-end Respond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as required * Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices * Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all company policies and processes. Building Services Manager Requirements: * The ideal candidate must be time served with a relevant trade qualification * You will have strong experience in commercial mechanical systems * Computer systems competence including MS Word and Excel Highly organised and clear communicator * Ability to understand technical documents Qualification * Ability to understand technical documents Comply with recognised procedures and systems, and strive to deliver the best quality * Successfully adapt to changing demands and conditions. * Willingness to develop efficient ways of working If you would like to apply for this role, please forward a copy of your CV using the link provided, or call Niall on (phone number removed)
