The Design Engineer is responsible for creating and coordinating BIM/CAD Models & Drawings for strategic Data Centre projects across EMEA. The Design Engineer will be based in the Tate European Headquarters in Dublin 10, within our bustling head office. We have plenty of off-site parking and we are a 15-minute stroll to the LUAS stop.   About Tate: At Tate, we are passionate about everything we do. The perfect balance!   Key Purpose of the Role:   The key purpose of the Design Engineer role at Tate is to spearhead the creation and coordination of BIM/CAD Models & Drawings for strategic Data Centre projects across EMEA, ensuring precision and innovation in design. This position plays a pivotal role in driving Tate's commitment to exceeding customer expectations by delivering world-class product solutions tailored to the unique needs of each project. Additionally, the Design Engineer collaborates closely with internal teams to optimize designs and provide technical support, ensuring seamless execution from ideation to final production.   Key Responsibilities Create and coordinate BIM/CAD Models & Drawings for strategic Data Centre projects across EMEA. Craft intricate designs leveraging SolidWorks, ensuring precision and innovation. Develop new products and update existing ones based on project requirements. Produce detailed drawings, cutting lists, and other production data.. Conduct site visits for customers when necessary. Perform any other reasonable duties as required.   Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Structural Professional experience in a construction or manufacturing environment. Extensive experience with 3D modeling (SolidWorks). Excellent communication skills. Good knowledge of M&E services. Valid driver's license recognized in Ireland.
