Title: Accommodation Manager Salary: €35-38k Location: Limerick City Duties & Responsibilities: To ensure all staff in your departments comply with Hotel Policy regarding uniform and personal hygiene. To check all work given to the Accommodation Assistants, Linen Porters and Maintenance throughout the day to ensure standards are being adhered to. To ensure all accommodation department-controlled areas have clear policies and procedures in place to ensure they are managed properly i.e., deep cleaning schedule and routine activities such as turning mattresses, deep cleaning showers etc. To assist in the development and writing of departmental standards and improved systems. To actively train all staff to the standards agreed To assist in recruiting new staff as required To attend meetings and training sessions as required. To ensure all Maintenance work in Bedrooms, Laundry and Public Areas are rectified prior to returning rooms back to reception. To ensure Guests and Hotel Laundry and Dry Cleaning is dealt with according to standard To be aware of the days business both in Room Occupancy, Special Requirements and VIP needs. To liaise with Reception regarding Room moves, VIP guests, Special Needs and act on any information given.
