Project Manager - Construction

Location: The role is based in Cork but may require travel nationwide. The Role: Priority Construction seek a Civil Engineer as a Project Manager with experience in landfill construction, site enabling works, road construction, road overlays and concrete works (including retaining structures). Duties: Ensure the successful management, completion and handover of the projects in which you are involved in. Coordinate and manage plant and subcontractors. Day to day management of staff members on site. Ensure that all work is undertaken in line with best practice and specified HSEQ initiatives. Assist in compiling valuations, to be compiled monthly (or on agreed period ends) for the Contracts Directors Weekly programmes and minutes of weekly meetings to be circulated for each live job. Ensure site KPI's are submitted daily by Site Manager. Ensure site timesheets submitted on a Monday morning by Site Managers. Any other reasonable duties required by company Directors. The ideal candidate will have: A relevant degree or equivalent in a Civil Engineering related field Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Manager in a similar role Strong communication skills, Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and develop.
