ABOUT THE ROLEEakin products have been available in Ireland since the 1980s and we went direct with a small Commercial and Community Nursing team in 2016. We are recruiting for a Field Sales Manager (Ireland) role to provide strong sales coverage for hospitals (Public and Private) throughout Republic of Ireland, and to coordinate our commercial activities with distributors, the Health Service Executive (HSE), and other stakeholders. While this role is accountable for sales performance and will have direct responsibility for all accounts, this is a step-up role for experienced field sales professionals looking for additional responsibilities. KEY ACTIVITIES Support the development and implementation of a strategy to increase sales of ostomy pouches wound pouches and accessories in Republic of Ireland.Work closely with Eakin Community Stoma Care Nurses in Ireland to coordinate the optimal service for healthcare professionals and their patients.Work closely with colleagues in Product & Marketing team to develop the materials required to inform and educate Healthcare Professionals on the benefits of Eakin Products.Work closely with colleagues in Commercial Operations to analyse current performance of Eakin Ostomy and Wound products in the ROI Market and to identify opportunities for growth.Identify and prioritise key accounts and target customers leveraging market insights and customer data.Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders / decision makers in the acute and post-acute market to drive product adoption and increased use.Lead the sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation / inclusion on formularies where applicable.Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations, proposals, and business cases to key stakeholders, highlighting the value proposition and clinical benefits of our ostomy and wound drainage products.Collaborate with Clinical Education colleagues to develop and deliver sessions to individuals and groups of medical professionalsManage the relationship with United Drug Distribution and the two main pharmacy wholesalers (UDW and Uniphar) including active management of stock levels through stock management portals.Liaise between Eakin Product team and HSE Product registration to facilitate the introduction of new Eakin products into the Irish Market.Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management to capitalize on emerging opportunities.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and congresses to showcase our products and services, and build relationships with potential customers and partners (HSE, HealthTech Ireland, Patient Groups, etc.). This team is directly managed by our Nurse Manager (UK Based) but the Field Sales Manager will have a role in coordinating activities of the team and in maintaining team cohesion.UK Product and Marketing Team – Marketing, Events, Clinical, Product External Wound and Ostomy Nurses in both Public and Private rolesHSE Procurement professionalsProcurement and Customer Service professionals at United Drug / Uniphar ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Predominantly field based role with frequent travel throughout ROI including overnight staysRegular travel and overnight stays to attend meetings and associated industry conferences in the UK will also be required.
