Your new company You will work in the plant of a multinational company with a significant presence in Cork. The Cork plant is seen as a very strategic site and plans are to further grow the site. Your new role Report directly to the Financial Controller in a team of 3. Your work will be mainly on financial accounts preparation, but you will develop in other areas such as commercial skills. Prepare and submit Financial AccountsManage Debtors/Creditors/Inventory & Bank sub ledgers.Balance Sheet reconciliations.Reconcile and submit timely revenue returns, including VAT, RCT.Review and enhancement of documented controls, policies, and procedures.Assist with Group financial reporting, forecasts and budgets.Reconcile balance sheet accountsMonthly and weekly reportingLead the Finance Audit and liaise directly with External Auditors.Perform additional duties at the request of the Direct Manager.Work cross functionally to identify, support and influence cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.What you'll need to succeed You must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, Chartered, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with good technical experience. It's a very collaborative environment, and you must be willing to fall in and help within a strong team environment.
