Our client a global healthcare leader, is seeking to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse to join their team. The Occupational Health Nurse will provide for and deliver health care to employees with a focus on achieving quality care and wellbeing.Conduct pre-employment medicals of all potential employees. Liaise with Occupational Health Physician regarding any out-of-range results.Provide the company with an onsite Occupational health service, efficient first aid service and an emergency treatment serviceComplete gap assessments of the EHS Management system and workplace environment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Provide, review, and maintain all EHS procedures and programmes to align with company standards, GOSH requirements a, HSE guidance.Planning and implementing Occupational Health ProgrammesPlan Health Surveillance for all employees as per Global Occupational Health GuidelinesOrganises and delivers training to support Occupational First-aiders and mental health championsDocumentation of all who attend Occupational Health Department for work-related or non-work issuesConduct DSE Assessment of workstations and co-ordinate the necessary ergonomic controls.Conduct absenteeism reviews, following up with employees and managers to ensure timely referral to the company doctor as necessary.Advise and guide employees on work related issues where appropriateOrganise positive health awareness and initiatives through education and health awareness programmesAct as company representative for employees Health Insurance Scheme regarding health and wellbeing initiatives, mini medicals, annual flu vaccinations, etc.Must be a Registered Nurse with up to date NMBI registrationRecognised Occupational Health qualificationAt least 3 years’ experience in an Occupational Health settingFamiliar with Occupational Health practices, policies, and procedures, return to work, absence management and immunisationsCompetent in the use of IT programmes and databases
