Electrical Construction Manager Wanted Salary: €80,000 - €95,000 Location: Kildare Are you a seasoned Electrical Construction Manager looking for your next big challenge? We have an exciting permanent role on a major brewery project in Kildare, working for a prominent end-client. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise in managing complex electrical installations and leading projects to success. What You'll Do: Leadership & Supervision: Oversee operations on medium to large projects, ensuring safety, timely completion, and budget adherence. Project Management: Handle programming works, monitor building progress, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide weekly progress reports. Team Management: Supervise site personnel, conduct installations alongside the team, and mentor apprentices. Design Review: Ensure installations meet design specifications and are fit for purpose. Sub-Contractor Coordination: Devise and manage contracts, supervise sub-contractors, and ensure contract compliance. Plant & Material Management: Coordinate plant movement, maintain records, manage procurement, and oversee material deliveries. Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other trades on site. Meetings & Reporting: Attend site meetings, hold progress meetings, and maintain accurate site documentation. Health & Safety: Implement company Health & Safety procedures, conduct inductions, and weekly Toolbox Talks. Quality Assurance: Work with the Quality Manager to address and sign off on quality issues. Planning: Plan labour and material needs in advance, ensuring smooth workflow. What We're Looking For: Experience: Proven track record in managing large-scale M&E projects, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical sectors. Experience with cleanrooms, LPHW, CHW, lab gases, ventilation, and plantroom installations is essential. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical control systems and the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings. Knowledge of BIM and Navisworks is a plus. Project Commissioning: Experience in construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are completed without liquidated damages. Management Skills: Excellent people management, multitasking ability, and initiative. Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office. Flexibility: Willingness to work outside normal hours if required.
