Sonas Technical are currently seeking an experienced Toolmaker for our continuously growing client, a leading Engineering company who specialise in the bespoke design and manufacturing of steel projects to various industries – Pharma, Medical, High Tech, Civils, Waste Water Treatment to name a few. We can provide insights to the best salaries, rates and benefits on offerOne point of contact – We can manage all your applications, interviews and negotiationsWe will get your CV seen by the right hiring managers Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;Producing standard machined parts for production to a high standard.Working alongside the Engineering and R&D departments to develop new products.Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure the timely and quality of components.Perform precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions.Maintain excellent machining and quality parameters on parts and projects.Manufacture and repair of jigs, fixtures, gauges etc. as required.Interpret drawings, evaluate machining methods on assignments and assist other toolmakers and apprentices in the operation and setup of toolroom equipment.Operate and maintain all conventional toolmaking machines.Experience / QualificationsMinimum of 10 years’ relevant practical experience in a Toolroom Environment is essential.Proficient in programming & operating Doosan CNC mill, Milltronics CNC lathe, surface grinders or comparable machines.Ability to interpret drawings, geometric dimensions and tolerances.Understanding of CNC Machinery, G & M – codes, Offsets etc.Experience of CAD/CAM would be an advantage.Experience of Lean manufacturing systems and contribute to continuous improvement activities.Attention to detail and precision in all aspects of toolmaking.Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Have good attention to detail and strong ability to learn new techniques, systems and technologies.BenefitsFull-time, permanent positions26 days annual leaveAttractive salary based on experienceCompany PensionCycle to Work SchemeWork clothes, safety boots and PPEDiscount on health insuranceDiscount on gym membershipFree on-site parkingDeath in BenefitFree on-site access to the annual flu vaccinationActive Social clubIND-ST-23 PC12567 Tags:
