We’re helping them in their recruitment of a project scheduler to join their operations. This is a major role for our client, as it is their first hire in Ireland. The successful person will be working on two major life science projects in Munster. An element of hybrid working is available also. Excellent renumeration package on offer.RequirementsPossesses a solid understanding of construction project lifecycles, spanning from design to commissioning, qualification, and handover.Brings experience in pharmaceutical projects, ideally with exposure to major companies.Familiarity with standard construction contracts, such as NEC.Proficient in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.Strong user of the Microsoft Office suite.Effective communicator across all levels, capable of leading workshops, extracting information from project teams, and presenting to senior management.Experience in navigating relationships with multiple senior stakeholders with diverse interests.Ability to translate complex data into clear and engaging messages and reports.Skillful in planning and structuring reports and presentations for clear and concise communication.Capable of building strong relationships with both existing clients and external networks.Possesses a good understanding of the consultancy model.Demonstrates the ability to deliver high-quality work within challenging timeframes.Excellent organizational, planning, and proactive time management skills.Highly motivated and ambitious.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of a suitable Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for effective organization and delivery of project scope.Collaborative creation of schedules, encompassing the entire project lifecycle, to establish a baseline for progress measurement.Collection and updating of progress information, including critical path activity review, float analysis, and resource assessment.Definition and monitoring of key project milestones.Implementation of progress measurement techniques like Earned Value Management (EVM).Collaborative development and upkeep of resource forecasts for both short and long-term needs.Ensure contract-compliant implementation of changes (e.g., NEC).Generate schedule and resource plans in response to change requests.Incorporate agreed-upon changes into baseline documents.Develop and maintain a project risk register, aligned with client governance processes and industry best practices.Assess the schedule impact of risks and propose mitigation strategies when necessary.Produce adaptable monthly progress reports tailored to client requirements.Present reports to the client organization, including any subsequent recommendations.Why apply with Sonas?
