Position: Glass Lewis is recruiting a Business Development Representative to drive corporate business growth, commencing as soon as possible. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate exceptional business development and communication skills, have an interest in Corporate Governance and ESG issues, and have the desire and ability to learn quickly. The ideal candidate is motivated and results-driven, and proficient in HubSpot and Salesforce and/or other CRM and business development software.   The successful candidate will focus on supporting Glass Lewis revenue objectives for corporate issuer customers and contribute to the firm-wide effort to maximize customer success. This is a hybrid role; attendance at our Limerick office will be required. Responsibilities:   Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals and targets Identify new business opportunities and potential clients, find and qualify leads, and develop tailored value propositions Pitch and promote Glass Lewis solutions to existing and prospective corporate customers, and pass appropriate deals to the sales team for the final stages of the sales process Interact with clients and prospects regarding inquiries about the company’s products or services Analyze the assigned territory/market’s potential, track sales and provide regular status reports. Test and assess new strategies with promising leads before being adapted by the entire team Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, issuer relations, and others, to develop and execute client-focused prospecting Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies Understand accounts, research prospective and current buyers, and acquire, update, and manage contacts in company CRM database  Provide regular reports on business development activities and performance metrics Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. Requirements Fluency in English. French, Spanish and other European languages are highly desirable. Understanding of multiple methods of lead generation. Comfortable with making cold calls. Ability to work autonomously to solve problems in a flat organization. Organized, efficient, accountable, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment. Experienced with Salesforce, HubSpot and CRM practices. Highly motivated and target driven. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build collaborative internal relationships across our organization, and external relationships with clients and partners. Excellent C-Suite Presentation, writing and communications skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Relevant undergraduate degree required. 2+ years of relevant work experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field Experience in the field of ESG / corporate governance preferred but not essential.
