Program Manager Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Program Manager to work with our client who is a global leader in banking and wealth management which provide consumers, corporations, governments, and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products to achieve the best outcomes for clients and customers with financial ingenuity that leads to solutions that are simple, creative, and responsible. The role is based in Dublin. This is a 12-month contract position. Role Overview The Issuer Services Technology team manages a suite of applications globally, all of which are business critical in supporting the Agency & Trust and Depositary Receipts business Operations and Front Office teams. The Senior Program/Project Manager role will be focused on executing and leading Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) projects and programs spanning across all the Issuer Services applications and the business lines we support, with a focus on transformation, modernization and innovation. The responsibilities will also include the day-day management of the implementation of regulatory and business mandatory enterprise enhancements. The Program Manager will report to the EMEA, APAC regional Portfolio Lead for Issuer Services within the technology division. This role will be part of a team that will focus on introducing and implementing revised processes, applied governance, and standardization across the technology division, with a focus on creating best practices on the full technology Lifecyle of Agile deployment and the associated activities centred on the modernization/innovation efforts of a global technology stack. This role will work closely with the global technology management team, EMEA technology teams and various levels of stakeholders across the organization. Key objectives of this role *Create, manage, and report on key milestones that make up the various programs and projects that the division is delivering against. * Business Management related functions supporting programs/projects - Budget & capacity planning. * Responsible for all executive management reporting, and the preparation and delivery of all supporting collateral including but not limited to the full maintenance of the project/program in the client's Project Management Tool. * Daily program management and oversite throughout the lifecycle of transformation programs. * Focus on the creation and implementation of a robust Project governance (controls) structure for the Issuer Services technology group. * Manage the risks and issues of the program and work with the teams to take corrective measurements. * Manage all stakeholders' communication. * Interact with the PMO group to manage the main program documentations according to our client's policies and procedures. * Interact and manage the relationship with the assigned technical lead/ teams to understand critical milestones, deliveries, and releases. * Asses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding our client, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Skills/Experience * Advanced years of experience as a Project and Program Manager. Strong and proven practical experience in project management, which was gained through successfully managing large and complex projects. * Some years' experience leading projects through Agile/Iterative methodologies. * Significant experience using JIRA to manage Sprints and project delivery. * Scrum Master and PMP certification strongly desired. * Experience working in a technology division of a large banking institution desired. * Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management. * Strong leadership and management skills. * Extremely organized. * Advanced presentation skills. * Ability to navigate in global, large, and complex organization. * Strong ability to influence without authority. * A bachelor's degree of Science in business management, administration (or any relevant degree), with proven experience in Program Management tools and techniques.
