Mechanical Engineer

One of Ireland’s leading general contractors that is a big player in the mission critical, life sciences, residential, commercial and civils sectors across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, are actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record of delivering complex MEP packages valued at €40m+. The project is a complex civils and commercial scheme in the Southeast of the country. This client has filled the orderbook already for 2024 & 2025 across all sectors and so, makes this serious opportunity for someone to climb the ladder in their preferred discipline. As Mechanical Engineer you will report into the Building Services Manager and MEP Lead who will have overall responsibility of the package and you will be given the support and guidance to climb the ladder. Our client is open to both self-employed and permanent contracts for the right candidate. Accommodation, travel and allowance are also available for candidates relocating from elsewhere. Mechanical Engineer Key Responsibilities: * Management of all day-to-day site operations * Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements * Management of all costs associated with your package * Attendance at Site Meetings, Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning Meetings and Handover Meetings * Maintain weekly project diary * Liaise with subcontractors Mechanical Engineer Key Requirements: * Relevant Building Services qualifications * 2+ years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role * Excellent, team working, organisational and planning skills * Travel flexibility * Career ambitious If you would like to find out more please contact Niall on (phone number removed)
