Kitchen Porter

Immediate Start We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team. This position will entail working evenings and weekends as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen, ensuring the kitchen floor area is clean from any debris or spillages at all times. Working and taking direction from the chefs as required. Deep clean of the kitchen as per the cleaning schedule in place. Operating the dish washing machine and ensuring there is a clean supply of crockery, cutlery and kitchenware at all times. This role will involve heavy duty pot wash Putting away deliveries and storing stock correctly. Dealing with food waste and changing bins regularly. Ensure the kitchen equipment is in working order and report any maintenance issues. To ensure that food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times. Requirements: Must have a minimum 1 year experience working in catering /busy kitchen environment in a similar role. Take pride in their work and has the ability to work on their own initiative. Excellent English both written and verbal. People person and well presented. Experience in cleaning systems. Ability to adapt to working in new environments and prioritise tasks. Ability to work efficiently and keep calm, under pressure. Valid work permits to work in Ireland with no restrictions. Must be flexible with working hours 5 over 7 days.
