Electrical EngineerThis role works on a 4-week shift cycleOn behalf of our client in Co Tipperary we have a role for a Electrical Engineer working on a 4 week shift pattern. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be at the heart of the operation, contributing to various projects and tasks that span from equipment installations, upgrades, and electrical commissioning to troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Maintenance, Operations, Quality, Health & Safety, and Engineering, to ensure production runs smoothly while upholding the strictest regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide daily support for production, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance operational performance and regulatory compliance.Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on packaging, production, and utilities equipment.Conduct equipment calibration as needed to maintain precision.Proactively address recurring technical issues, striving to minimize downtime and waste while optimizing production lines.Participate in companywide continuous improvement initiatives, working in teams and implementing 'permanent fix' solutions using quality tools.Maintain comprehensive records and reports related to engineering matters, such as breakdowns and maintenance activities.Utilize IT and processing systems effectively to enhance efficiency.Assist in the development and improvement of maintenance routines within a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.Report maintenance activities at shift meetings, ensuring prompt communication of issues and concerns.Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform troubleshooting using various resources and instructions.Provide general maintenance support for various areas, including process equipment, fire alarm systems, HVAC equipment, refrigeration, water, packaging equipment, and general facilities.Qualifications and Skills:Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in high-volume manufacturing equipment.A third-level qualification in engineering or a National Craft Certificate with specialized training and experience.Relevant industrial experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Scientific approach to problem-solving, blending analytical and experimental skills.Technical ability and self-motivation.Proactive and self-starting attitude.A continuous learner and innovator.Excellent teamwork skills.Decision-making abilities and learning from mistakes.Good understanding of the regulatory environment.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.Capacity to maintain confidentiality.Technical understanding of setup and maintenance of manufacturing processes, validation, equipment design, and Lean Manufacturing.This role works on a 4-week shift cycle,If this job sounds ideal to you & you want to enquire in complete confidence or make an application, contact Darren Brown in Cpl Limerick on or email your details to #LI-DB4
