With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.Role/ Department:The Fund Service Centre (FSC) provides third party investor services to a specific group of clients covering the full range of shareholder servicing functions including dealing, registration, AML, settlements, distributions and commissions. Reporting to the Fund Service Centre Team Manager, you will be responsible forthe creation and delivery of an enhanced induction training program for new hires. As part of your role, you will ensure new hires are set up for success, while also providing tenured partners with any refresher training or coaching support needed to ensure exceptional customer service is being provided by the FSC.The key responsibilities of the role include:Preparing and deliveringFSC New Hire training, supporting partners from day one, right through to model office and beyond.Act as a content knowledge expert, ensuring content available to the FSC to support with query handling is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to navigate.Proactively analyze data to identify opportunities for coaching, training and overall service enhancements.Maintain a thorough knowledge of the operational team procedures and processes, sharing knowledge with the teams as appropriate e.g., via huddles, regular meetings and conducting regular procedural reviews.Acting as the go-to within the FSC & wider Transfer Agency teams with regards to training and development plans.Ensure your own tasks and responsibilities are completed within deadlines, highlighting any challenges in achieving these to the team manager in a timely manner.Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other work activities within the team should the need arise.Skills/ Qualifications:Previous experience in a training delivery role.Strong analytical skills to research, complete trend analysis and prepare training material. Excellent communication skills – (listening skills, oral communication skills, information sharing and written communication skills).Interpersonal (relationship building, respectful, problem solving and understanding)Motivation (closure and result seeking)Thinking (decision making, idea generation, inclusion and problem solving)Leadership (direction, idea generation, knowledge sharing and team recognition)Demonstrate a strong and thorough technical knowledge of at least one TA operational area.Ability to work on own initiativeAbility to multi-taskWorking with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
