Bakery Shop Manager - Mullingar - Full Time Position   About O'Hehirs The O'Hehir name is synonymous with fresh artisan breads, quality celebration cakes and delicious homemade pastries while also providing more contemporary products such as our gluten-free range of breads and cakes. Known for using traditional recipes and methods, we have 18 food outlets around the country, supplied daily by our own bakery, based in Sligo, which keep the customs of traditional baking alive. As we continue to grow, we never forget our roots and are committed to provide global best practice with a personal touch.   The Role We're seeking a passionate and dynamic Manager to helm our craft bakery store in Mullingar, nestled within the vibrant O'Hehir cafe chain dedicated to bringing the finest baked goods to communities far and wide.   If you're someone who thrives on crafting exceptional customer experiences and possesses a knack for leading and nurturing a small, tight-knit team, then you might just be the icing on our cake! Key Responsibilities: Maximising all sales opportunities and to promote a selling environment within the Shop. Rotas to be done to cover shop opening hours and copy to be forwarded to Area Manager weekly. Wages time sheet & Sales sheets are to be sent to the Accounts team. All sheets relevant to H.A.C.C.P. are to be filled in as required. Responsible for maintenance/cleaning of specific machines. Liaise with Area Manager to support with any breakdowns e.g. electrical, plumbing Ensuring company Policies and Procedures are adhered to by all staff. Arranging When on day off it is Managers responsibility to ensure Senior staff member on duty who will report to Area Manager if necessary. If it is necessary for Manager to work extra day due to staff shortage i.e. absenteeism, a day off in lieu will be taken at a future date. Report and document Health & Safety incidents/accidents reporting to Area Manager each week   Proactively dealing with Customer complaints, records of complaints to be recorded and shared with Area Manager Maintaining daily report of sales figures including suggest reasons for high/low sales, e.g  product sales reports, special occasion sales along with suggestions for future product orders. Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to attract new staff members, develop and retain our existing team Proven management experience in all aspects of running a shop along with delivering high standards of customer service The person must have an outgoing personality who can create relationships with both new and regular customers Have good numerical understanding, the successful candidate must be able to control payroll costs and other operational costs and still provide a quality service and great customer journey.
