Americold Helping our customers Feed the World Here at Americold we are now recruiting for a Nightshift Warehouse Manager for Lough Egish. Location: Lough Egish, County Monaghan. Contract: Full time perm Salary: €40-45k per year Hours: Mon-Fri, 5pm 2am with weekend flexibility As the Warehouse Manager, your role will be to drive the delivery of warehouse performance against key performance measures. To highlight, support and remove obstacles which impact productivity, whilst also challenging under performance and unacceptable behaviour that could affect the overall teams performance and morale. To ensure quality standards and work processes are always adhered to. You will gain a thorough understanding of all work activity and assigned resources to successfully deliver tomorrows plan while raising any concerns from the previous day and deliver an effective handover at the end of shift. The role also consists of conducting daily team briefs, detailing shift performance, position, tomorrows plan, H&S messages, and any company news that may be relevant. As a Warehouse Manager you will oversee the daily activity for the warehouse. Ensure all work/movements (i.e. bookings, vehicle movements, Vas work, and internal work) are dealt with in the set timeframes and all systems updated accordingly. You will need to ensure all stock is accurately recorded on the system, reporting any discrepancies (receipts/ orders) to the CS team or CC in a timely manner. Effective communication is needed with other departments to highlight any operational issues and potential delays to daily activity, including providing solutions and timeframes while continuously identifying and highlighting obstacles that impact performance, actively seek out ways to improve productivity and remove downtime. Essential Criteria Previous experience in Associate Management i.e. directing workforce and rapport building Ability to positively influence and communicate to others. Assertive, alert, and proactive Self-awareness and self-management Customer service driven. Process Management experience, i.e. separating and combining tasks Ability to operate in a fast-moving organisation Ability to openly and constructively challenge Ability to effectively problem solve.
