Quality Control Trainee Technical - Rossmore, T45 RW92 An exciting opportunity to join Ireland's leading independent manufacturer of concrete and bituminous construction materials. We are currently hiring quality control trainees to join our team at our construction materials laboratory in Rossmore, T45 RW92. This is a junior/trainee role within our technical department. This position is suited to secondary school graduates, early careers applicants and individuals seeking to change careers. Materials testing experience is not a requirement for this position and all successful applicants will be given full and comprehensive on the job training to learn testing methods and product specifics. Candidates will initially shadow both lab managers and senior QC team members in order to gain the skills necessary to carry out the role. Responsibilities:   A typical working day involves carrying out physical testing of a range of building materials such as aggregates (sand, stone, gravel), ready-mix concrete, concrete blocks, paving blocks / flags and road making (bituminous) materials. These materials are routinely tested for size conformity and strength. Skills Required: You must be willing and able to carry out physical work associated with sampling and testing of materials.
