Medical Registrar: Beacon Hospital wishes to obtain applications for the position of Medical Registrar for July 2024 (competitive salary and training grant apply) Beacon Hospital Located in South Dublin, Beacon Hospital is one of the most advanced private hospitals in Europe, with over 1700 Consultants, nurses and healthcare professionals. Beacon Hospital provides 24 hour, world-class acute care services including orthopaedics, physiotherapy, cardiology, women's health, urology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, plastic & reconstructive surgery, ENT, neurology, general surgery, comprehensive cancer care and emergency medicine.  Overall Job Purpose The mission of Beacon Hospital is to provide quality care to all patients, in a respectful, safe and compassionate environment. To provide care to inpatients in Beacon Hospital, and to any other patients in the hospital who requires acute medical intervention that can be provided by a Medical Registrar. The Medical Department at Beacon Hospital is a consultant delivered service. The team consists of the Medical Consultant who works in collaboration with the Medical Registrars, SHO's and interns in formulating management plans for patients. Candidate Requirements: MRCP, MRCGP or equivalent is required. Current relevant Full Irish Medical Council Registration. Membership of relevant college is desirable  Experience at Registrar level in an acute Hospital setting. Current ACLS certification required. Proven ability to work as an effective team member. Ability to communicate effectively. All posts in Beacon Hospital require a high level of flexibility to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service. Therefore, the post holder will be required to demonstrate flexibility as and when required by their manager or hospital management.
