Join a dynamic team where your contributions will make a significant impact on innovative medical solutions.Role SummaryAs a Product Development Engineer, you will support the development of medical devices from feasibility through to market introduction. This temporary role, covering a 4-month period for parental leave, provides an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of customers ranging from start-ups to multi-nationals in diverse clinical spaces. Expand your experience in different clinical applications while contributing to business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop balloon catheters, braided shafts, and/or delivery systems from initial prototype to commercialisation.Create effective, reliable, and efficient manufacturing processes to meet customer, quality, and regulatory standards.Document design and development activities to support the product development process from prototyping to commercialisation.Provide technical support during product development, validations, and commercialisation activities.Identify, escalate, and mitigate technical and project risks throughout the product development process.Required Skills and QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in the medical device industry, preferably with catheter, braided shaft, or delivery system experience.Experience with product development processes (PDP), medical device design, and regulation.Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent.Proven record in innovative design and product development.Strong interpersonal, planning, and communication skills.BenefitsCompetitive and negotiable salaryFlexible employment types available: consultants, contractors, direct hires, and contingent workersOpportunity to work in a leading company within the medical device industryContactReady to take the next step in your career?  Reach out to Emma Cawley at
