HOW CAN YOU HELP US? In a nutshell : Are you interested in leading the Quality and Compliance functions across four Eurofins Food Testing locations in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland? The Director of Quality and Compliance is responsible for leading an integrated management system to provide oversight of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment functions. You will work proactively with site-level QHSE resources to establish and maintain safe systems of work, and a safe environment for colleagues and customers. Utilize expertise in ISO 17025 and other similar standards by aligning policies and measuring compliance. Forge relations with local accreditation and regulatory bodies (INAB- Irish National Accreditation Board, UKAS- United Kingdom Accreditation Service, UK and Ireland Health and Safety Authorities) to ensure Eurofins implements systems and processes that meet local compliance expectations. Work with technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders to improve and validate new methods that align with company strategy and optimize both quality and productivity. Utilize technology to modernize an integrated management system and automation of non-compliance trends. Work alongside Eurofins Group compliance leaders to implement best practices across all sites and ensure accurate reporting of key Compliance KPIs. Are you based in or around Cork, Ireland? Then this role might be one for you! What team will I be part of? You will report into the Managing Director and National Business Line Leader of Food and Feed Testing Ireland. As a Quality and Compliance Director You Will: Be responsible for aligning all policies related to QHSE compliance functions into an integrated management system using modern technology. Acts as Department head for EHS. Oversee effective site-level QHSE compliance liaising with senior leaders and on-site QHSE resources. Ensure laboratories are operated in a safe manner in accordance with regulations and Eurofins H&S system requirements. Work with QHSE and Business Leaders to lead effective Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis to ensure effective solutions are implemented. Implement quality system requirements in all areas of work including ensuring amendments to the Quality Manual or other QA documentation are promptly initiated and implemented as instructed. Ensure that quality systems are adhered to, and INAB ISO 17025 accreditation is maintained and expanded by developing and optimising technical capabilities and new techniques / methods. You will sit as a key member of Ireland’s leadership team providing compliance oversight to senior leaders pertaining to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. Education: You have a degree in a science field (e.g chemistry, biology) Language: English proficiency is a must, and good command in other languages are highly appreciated. Technical knowledge : You have 8+ year in an ISO 17025 compliance function and a NEBOSH Certificate or 4+ years working in a Health and Safety role. You have the ability to use technology and mathematics to perform data analysis/trending. You have experience using and leading Lean process improvement projects, specifically involving digitization and automation. You are a good team player, organised, accurate and have a strong documentation skillset. You are passionate about QHSE and Compliance. We support your development!
