Senior Business AnalystThe Senior Business Analyst will join an existing team of BAs as an Algo Risk and Controls (R & C) Subject Matter Expert (SME). You are expected to act as a SME for all the projects in R & C book of work by analysing the business requirements, challenging the status-quo based on your specialist knowledge, and design robust and long-lasting systems. This is an action-packed role for a highly motivated Business Analyst who is willing to roll-up the sleeves to perform hands on activities. You would face off internal control function teams like “Compliance”, “Risk Management”, “Internal Audit” to represent any enhancements in existing/new algorithms. You would manage complex global trade flows and functionality that include elements of Electronic/Algorithmic Execution of orders, order management, FIX, Risk Management etc. This role is specifically for Algo/Electronic Execution R & C specialist, so any prior experience in Electronic Trading or Algorithmic Execution is highly desirable. The role would involve working on activities ranging from incorporating new functionality in the existing ecosystem to analysing new requirements, compliance to regulatory and control requirements, documenting solutions, coordinating implementation with vendors and testing systems to ensure that they are fit for purpose. You would regularly work with a range of high-profile stakeholders and vendors. So, should have strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectations, excellent problem-solving skills to develop solutions and good organization skills to ensure delivery.Key Responsibilities:Act as a SME in Pre-Trade Risk functionality and Operational Risk for all the trading platforms in Futures Electronic Execution suite of applicationSpecifically responsible to face off internal control function teams like “Compliance”, “Risk Management”, “Internal Audit” to represent any enhancements in existing/new algorithms and to ensure adherence to electronic trading, regulatory and internal controls requirementsResponsible for ensuring adherence to Citi Electronic Trading policies and other regulatory and internal controls requirementsResponsible for Tech deliverables for annual Mifid Assessments for Futures line of businessBe primary point of contact for validation of Risks and Controls implementation for new and existing algosConduct regular internal reviews of tech stack, processes, and procedures to adherence to enterprise policies and pro-actively identify risks and issues to pre-empt findings from internal/external auditorsUnderstanding business priorities, documenting requirements, and determining solutions in partnership with the vendors/internal teamsDeveloping and maintaining the project plan, test strategies, documenting test scenarios, Tracking and maintaining Change Request documentation, Organizing, and delivering functional presentations in stakeholder meetingsAssist in the production of business cases, ensuring that all projects have a viable business propositionCollaborating with global partners to manage infrastructure and software dependenciesRole requirements:Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred, preferably in Computer Science, Maths or Stats.Strong Business Analysis & Project Management experience with practical experience in analysis/design/implementation of successful projects in the Futures Front Office areaExperience in dealing with enterprise controls functions like Compliance & Audit is highly desiredPrevious experience in Pre-trade Risk management for Electronic Execution is highly desirableExceptional understanding of Exchange listed Futures and Options products and processesExceptional understanding of Market micro-structure, Order Types, Trading Benchmarks and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA)Strong grip on Electronic Execution Algorithms like VWAP, TWAP, Arrival/implementation Shortfall, Market On Close, etc and previous experience in designing/testing such algosGood understanding of regulatory obligations for electronic tradingGood understanding of the FIX protocolExperience of working in Vendor Managed env is desirableAbility to drive risk and control projects with stakeholders independentlyExcellent Analytics skills and ability to work under pressureStrong problem-solving skills and good organizational skills to manage projectsFlexible communication style for multi-geography stakeholder groupsStrong oral/written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussionsManage tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changesTeam player in a solid/matrix reporting organizationWillingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answersAbility to work independently, multi-task, take ownership and drive strategyCareer development value:Direct exposure to first and second line of defence for Futures Electronic Execution businessGreat opportunity to work on Futures Algorithmic Execution front office platforms and gain in depth product knowledgeOpportunity to interact with cross-functional internal teams across multiple levels as well as interaction with external vendorsExposure to global stakeholders of senior levelFor more information, please email #LI-EG1
